Shannon is a certified yoga instructor (RYT 200) who is passionate about helping students build strength, mobility, and resilience—both on and off the mat. Her classes combine purposeful movement, breathwork, and mindfulness to create a challenging yet supportive experience for all levels, from complete beginners to experienced practitioners.
At Lineage BJJ, Shannon’s approach to yoga goes beyond flexibility. She focuses on improving mobility, enhancing recovery, and developing mental clarity—key elements that directly support Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training, overall fitness, and everyday life.
Her teaching style emphasizes connection—between breath and movement, mind and body, and the individual and the community. Shannon creates a welcoming, judgment-free environment where students feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged to challenge themselves at their own pace.

Off the mat, Shannon’s greatest joy is being a mom to her daughter, who constantly reminds her to stay present, playful, and grateful—values she brings into every class she teaches.
